Product Description
Available in reddish orange colored powder form, Sudan Red and Sudan III Dyes are basically lyssochrome azo dye which is odorless by nature. These fat soluble dyes are used as suitable coloring factors for polishing wax, oil and fat. Offered synthetic chemical dyes are also used to color plastics and hydrocarbon solvents. Sudan dyes are used to attain intense red color of chili powder, although these dyes have carcinogenic attribute. Melting point of Sudan Red and Sudan III Dyes ranges between 195 degree C to 196 degree C. Neutral ph value, 0.10% chloride content and 0.50% ash content are the key characteristics of these dyes.
